Zuri Plastic Surgery will be resuming all operations as of May 11th. Precautionary and preventive measures will be immediately instituted and enforced indefinitely, as per local and federal mandates, to ensure and maximize the safety and well-being of our patients, personnel and all associated family members. Although sanitation, decontamination and surgical grade cleaning protocols are strictly followed every day, multiple times per day, we will be incorporating additional advanced technologies, supplemental & professional cleaning crews and evidence-based, infection prevention techniques to ensure our facility is a safe for each and every one of our patients and staff.
All clinical and administrative personnel will be wearing adequate PPE, including masks, for the entirety of their work shifts. All healthcare providers, surgical teams and office staff will be tested before returning to work and will be assessed and evaluated on a daily basis (includes routine screening of all staff members, healthcare providers, delivery personnel, maintenance and housekeeping crews, etc.) We require that any person entering the facility is required to wear a mask that fully covers the nose and mouth. Our staff and patients will be adhering to social distancing guidelines in our consultation, exam and administrative areas.
Patients arriving for services, with a scheduled and confirmed appointment time, will be asked to call our office from their vehicles while remaining in the parking lot to announce themselves in advance. Our office will call in return and advise as to when the patient can enter the facility to be seen (one patient at a time, no companions & wearing a mask.)
Patients will ONLY be seen alone. No companions are permitted in our facility.
All patients will be screened before their arrival for either consult, surgery or follow-up for symptoms of COVID-19 disease and any possible history of exposure.
Temperature checks and masks will be required before entering the facility. Masks must fully cover the nose and mouth. Patients are to alert our staff if they do not have their own mask.
Hand sanitizer will be dispensed upon arrival and frequently to ensure facility sterility.
The use of the lobby and waiting area is strictly prohibited. All friends and family members will need to remain in their vehicles.
Patients traveling from the Northeast (especially New York and New Jersey) have been mandated by the Governor of Florida to self-quarantine on arrival to the state of Florida for 14 days. These patients cannot have surgery until they have self-quarantined OR can provide documentation from a negative COVID-19 test.
*** ALL LOCAL AND OUT OF STATE SURGERY PATIENTS MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF A NEGATIVE TEST RESULT FOR COVID-19 PRIOR TO THE DAY OF SURGERY. ***
